Notice of Intention to Consider Varying a Scheduled International Air Service Licence Pursuant to section 87j (3) of the Civil Aviation Act 1990, and a delegation from the Secretary for Transport dated 28 August 1996, I give notice that having received applications from Air New Zealand Limited, the Minister of Transport intends to consider varying the scheduled international air service licence issued to that airline to: (i) with respect to Tokyo, provide for up to 6 return B747 services or equivalent per week, including 3 B747 services per week jointly with Japan Airlines; and (ii) with respect to Nagoya, provide for the operation of up to 3 B767 services per week via Nadi. Any person or organisation wishing to make representations relating to this application must forward those representations in writing to reach me at the Ministry of Transport, P.O.
