Notice of Intention to Consider Varying a Scheduled International Air Service Licence Pursuant to section 87j (3) of the Civil Aviation Act 1990, and a delegation from the Secretary for Transport dated 28 August 1996, I give notice that having received applications from Air New Zealand Limited, the Minister of Transport intends to consider varying the scheduled international air service licence issued to that airline to: (i) with respect to Tokyo, provide for up to 6 return B747 services or equivalent per week, including 3 B747 services per week jointly with Japan Airlines; and (ii) with respect to Nagoya, provide for the operation of up to 3 B767 services per week via Nadi.
