Final Determination of Dumping Investigation: Clear Float Glass From China and Thailand: Third Country Dumping Pursuant to sections 13 and 18 of the Dumping and Countervailing Duties Act 1988 (``the Act''), I hereby give notice that I have made a determination that, in relation to the importation or intended importation of the goods specified in the First Schedule to this notice, (``the subject goods'') (a) The subject goods are being dumped; and (b) By reason thereof material injury to an Australian industry has been caused. FIRST SCHEDULE Goods Subject to Determination Country of Origin China. Thailand. Description of Goods Clear float glass ranging in thickness from 2.8 mm to 12.3 mm (nominal thickness of 3 mm to 12 mm) inclusive. The goods are currently classified under Tariff Item 7005.29.00 and Statistical Key 11D, 19K and 29G of the Tariff of New Zealand, which classification is provided for convenience and Customs purposes only, the written description being dispositive. The imposition of anti-dumping duties is a matter which must be addressed in the context of specific international obligations incumbent on New Zealand in relation to the imposition of duties in third country dumping cases. Accordingly, World Trade Organisation Members with an interest in this matter will be consulted with regard to the application of Article 14.4 of the Agreement on Implementation of Article VI of GATT 1994. A copy of the non-confidential version of the Final Report which contains details of the investigation and the conclusions reached, is available from the Manager, Trade Remedies Group, Ministry of Commerce, P.O.
