The Mangakino Area School Board of Trustees Election Extension Notice Pursuant to clause 9 (2) of the Sixth Schedule to the Education Act 1989 and acting with authority delegated by the Minister of Education, I hereby extend the final date for receiving voting papers (and all subsequent actions in accordance with the Education (Trustee Elections) Regulations 1992) for the election of 5 parent representatives for the Mangakino Area School Board of Trustees. The poll shall now close on 1 May 1998. This action is being taken because the name of one of the candidates was misspelt on the voting paper for the date originally set for the election, 9 April 1998.
