Pouto Rural Fire District Notice 1998 Pursuant to the Forest and Rural Fires Act 1977, the National Rural Fire Authority hereby makes the following notice. N o t i c e 1. (1) This notice may be cited as the Pouto Rural Fire District Notice 1976, Amendment No. 5 and shall be read with and deemed part of the notice constituting the Pouto Rural Fire District Order 1976 made on the 20th day of December 1976 (a) (hereinafter referred to as the principal notice). (2) This notice shall come into force on the 28th day after its notification in the New Zealand Gazette. 2. The principal notice is hereby amended by revoking clause 6 of the principal notice as substituted by the Pouto Rural Fire District Notice 1976, Amendment No. 4 and substituting the following clause: ``6. (1) The district shall be administered for the purpose of the Act by a rural fire committee known as the Pouto Rural Fire Committee. (2) The Pouto Rural Fire Committee shall consist of 6 members as follows: (a) One person appointed, in writing, by Evergreen Forests Limited and signed on behalf of that company by one director and the secretary thereof; (b) One person appointed, in writing, by Tai Tokorau Forests Limited and signed on behalf of that company by one director and the secretary thereof; (c) One person appointed, in writing, by Rayonier New Zealand Limited and signed on behalf of that company by one director and the secretary thereof; (d) One person appointed, in writing, by the Director General of the Department of Conservation; (e) One person appointed, in writing, by the Director-General of Agriculture and Forestry; (f) One person residing in the district and appointed, in writing, by the Kaipara District Council.
