The Traffic (Kaikoura District) Notice 1998 Pursuant to sections 52 and 52 (3) of the Transport Act 1962, and regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976, and to an authority sub-delegated to me by the Land Transport Safety Authority of New Zealand dated 9 June 1997, I, Robert Albert Gibson, Acting Manager, Safer Roads, give the following notice: N o t i c e (1) This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Kaikoura District) Notice 1998. (2) The roads specified in the First Schedule are declared to be closely populated localities at all times pursuant to section 52 (1) (c) of the Transport Act 1962. (3) The roads specified in the Second Schedule are declared to be 70 kilometres an hour speed limit area pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976.
