Canterbury Port and Province Credit Union (in liquidation) Notice of Appointment of Liquidator and Notice to Creditors to Claim Notice is hereby given in pursuance to section 255 (2) (a) of the Companies Act 1993, that by order of the High Court, Christchurch, the above-named credit union in accordance with section 241 (2) (c) of the Companies Act 1993, is to be wound up and D. D. Critchton, chartered accountant of Grant Thornton, Christchurch, be appointed as liquidator of the credit union. The liquidation commenced on the 12th day of May 1998. Inquiries may be directed by a creditor or member to the offices of the credit union during normal business hours (Telephone (03) 328 8810). The liquidators do hereby fix the 24th day of July 1998, as the day on or before which the trade creditors of the credit union are to make their claim, to establish any priority their claims may have under section 312 of the Companies Act 1993. It should be noted that members of the credit union are not required to complete a claim form.
