Land at Summit Road (Castle Rock) Acquired for Scenic Reserve Pursuant to section 20 (1) of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Regional Solicitor, Land Information New Zealand, Christchurch, declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto, is hereby acquired for scenic reserve (subject to the Reserves Act 1977, notice 641978 and declaration 22254/1 declaring parts of the within land to be protected land for the purposes of the Summit Road (Canterbury) Protection Act 1963, a right to convey water granted by transfer 736636 and a certain grazing licence to Scotts Valley Limited dated 11 November 1996 together with a water easement granted by transfer 638511) and shall vest in The Christchurch City Council on the date of publication of this declaration in the New Zealand Gazette.
