Apiary Registration Districts and Offices Appointed (Notice No. 1072) Pursuant to section 4 (2) of the Apiaries Act 1969, I hereby (a) Divide New Zealand into the apiary registration districts that are named and described in the first and second columns of the Schedule to this notice; and (b) Appoint as the registration office for each registration district the office of the Ministry of Agriculture that is at the location specified opposite the name of the registration district, in the third column of the Schedule to this notice; and (c) Allocate to each registration district the code letter that is specified opposite the name of the registration district, in the fourth column of the Schedule to this notice. This notice hereby revokes the notices appointing apiary registration districts and registration offices dated the 27th day of September 1979 (New Zealand Gazette, 1979, No. 93, page 2980) and the 10th day of July 1980 (Gazette, 1980, No. 79, page 2072). Pukekohe A Hamilton The city of Hamilton; the districts of Matamata-Piako, Waipa, South Waikato, Otorohanga, Waitomo, Taupo; those parts of the districts of Franklin and Waikato not included in the Whangarei Apiary Registration District; and that part of the Ruapehu district lying generally to the north of a line from the Paretetaitonga Trig on Mount Ruapehu (NZMS260 T20 308112) due west to Otautu Trig (NZMS260 S20 037112), then due north to a peak at 639 metres (NZMS260 S20 037189), and then in a straight line to the confluence of the Retaruke and Wanganui Rivers (NZMS260 R19 890309). Ruakura C Tauranga The districts of Wairoa, Gisborne, Opotiki, Whakatane, Kawerau, Rotorua, Western Bay of Plenty, Tauranga, Thames-Coromandel; and that part of the Hauraki district not included in the Whangarei Apiary Registration District. Tauranga D Palmerston North The cities of Wellington, Porirua, Upper Hutt, Hutt, Palmerston North and Napier; the districts of Kapiti Coast, Horowhenua, Manawatu, Rangitikei, Wanganui, Stratford, South Taranaki, New Plymouth, Hastings, Central Hawke's Bay, Tararua, Masterton, Carterton, South Wairarapa; and that part of the Ruapehu District not included in the Hamilton Apiary Registration District.
