Notice of Initiation of Duty Reassessment for Plasterboard from Thailand Pursuant to section 14 (6) of the Dumping and Countervailing Duties Act 1988 (``the Act''), and under delegated authority from the Secretary of Commerce, I hereby give notice that I have initiated a reassessment of the amount of anti-dumping duty in respect of imports into New Zealand of the goods described in the Schedule. The purpose of the reassessment is to take account of the recent significant devaluation in the Thai baht, and to give effect to an agreement between Winstone Wallboard Limited and the Minister of Commerce, the Secretary of Commerce and the Ministry of Commerce. The reassessment will reassess the rate or amount of anti-dumping duty. The reassessment initiated on 27 January 1997 with the purpose of ensuring that any changes in the elements between the non-injurious market price and the non-injurious FOB price which may have occurred, were incorporated into the anti-dumping remedy, has been terminated. Schedule Goods Subject to Investigation Country of Origin Thailand. Description of Goods Standard plasterboard with dimensions of a thickness falling between 8.75 mm to 10.25 mm and of any length or width. The goods are currently classified under Tariff Item and Statistical Key 6809.11.00 10D of the Tariff of New Zealand, which classification is provided for convenience and Customs purposes only, the written description being dispositive.
