Notice of Intent to Consider Varying a Scheduled International Air Service Licence Pursuant to section 87j (3) of the Civil Aviation Act 1990, I give notice that, having received an application from Air New Zealand Limited, the Minister of Transport intends to consider varying the international air service licence held by that airline to provide for: (i) in respect of Singapore, the operation of services via Australia; (ii) in respect of Malaysia, the substitution of Singapore as the intermediate point in place of Sydney, and an increase in available capacity from up to the equivalent of one B747 return service per week to up to the equivalent of two B747 return services per week; and (iii) in respect of Thailand, an increase in available capacity from up to the equivalent of four B767 return services per week to up to the equivalent of six B767 return services per week. Any person or organisation wishing to make representations relating to this proposal must forward those representations in writing to reach me at the Ministry of Transport, P.O.
