Proposed Financial Transactions Reporting Regulations Pursuant to Section 56 of the Financial Transactions Reporting Act 1996 The Minister of Justice hereby gives notice that he intends to make a recommendation that regulations be made pursuant to section 56 (1) (e) of the Financial Transactions Reporting Act 1996, to exempt special bank accounts established under the Social Security (Alternative Arrangements for Overseas Pensions) Regulations 1996 from customer verification. The proposed regulation will deem a ``special bank account'' not to be a facility. A draft of the proposed regulation is available for inspection.
