The Fisheries (Northland Scallop Fishery Season) Notice 1997 (No. F59) Pursuant to section 369 (5) of the Fisheries Act 1996, the Minister of Fisheries hereby makes the following notice: N o t i c e 1. Title and commencement (1) This notice may be cited as the The Fisheries (Northland Scallop Fishery Season) Notice 1997 (No. F59). (2) This notice shall come into effect the day after its notification in the New Zealand Gazette. 2. Interpretation In this notice any reference to the Northland Scallop Fishery means the fishery described in Part III of the First Schedule to the Fisheries Act 1996. 3. Northland Scallop Season The period commencing on the 15th day of July 1997, and ending with the close of the 14th day of February 1998, shall be the Northland Scallop Fishery season for the 1997 fishing year.
