ROYAL NEW ZEALAND NAVY Commodore John Gordon Leonard, c.n.z.m., is placed on the Retired List of the RNZN with effect from 25 May 1997. The appointment of Captain M. J. Wardlaw is extended until 25 April 2003. Acting Captain J. O. Ladd to be Captain with seniority and effect from 1 May 1997. Commander Karl Edward Hutton, n.z.c.e., is placed on the Emergency List of Officers of the Naval Reserve with effect from 12 May 1997.
