Appointments, Promotions, Extensions, Transfers, Resignations and Retirements of Officers of the Royal New Zealand Navy Pursuant to section 32 of the Defence Act 1990, His Excellency the Governor-General has approved the following appointments, promotions, extensions, transfers, resignations and retirements of officers of the New Zealand Naval Forces. ROYAL NEW ZEALAND NAVY The appointment of Commodore D. W. Palmer is extended until 15 March 1998. Captain A. D. Clayton-Greene to be acting Commodore with effect from 27 January 1997. Commander J. O. Ladd to be acting Captain with effect from 21 January 1997. Commander Alan Ross Dudley, m.b.e., is placed on the Retired List of the RNZN with effect from 15 January 1997. Commander Bruce Malcolm Coffey, b.sc., dip.tchg., is placed on the Emergency List of Officers of the Naval Reserve with effect from 18 January 1997. The appointment of Chaplain P. Law is extended until 9 January 2000. Lieutenant Commander Dennis George Pringle is placed on the Retired List of the RNZN with effect from 15 March 1997.
