Scissor Platforms Limited (in liquidation) Public Notice of Appointment of Liquidator Pursuant to Sections 3 and 255 (2) (a) of the Companies Act 1993 On the 23rd day of October 1997, it was resolved by special resolution of shareholders, pursuant to section 241 (2) (a) of the Companies Act 1993, that Scissor Platforms Limited be liquidated and that Mr D. M. Virtue, chartered accountant of Auckland, be appointed liquidator for the purpose. The liquidation commenced on the 23rd day of October 1997. Note: In March 1997, this company sold its business to a new company called Scissor Platforms (1997) Limited. The purchaser is continuing in business. The winding up of the vendor company has nothing to do with the purchasing company which is continuing to function in its normal manner. Prior to the company commencing winding up a certificate of directors that the company would upon appointment of a liquidator be able to pay its debts in full was filed with the Registrar of Companies.
