Classification and Naming of a Reserve Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator, Northland Conservancy, Department of Conservation, hereby classifies the reserve, described in the Schedule hereto, as a scenic reserve, for the purposes specified in section 19 (1) (a) of the Reserves Act 1977, subject to the provisions of the said Act and further declares that the said reserve shall hereafter be known as the Matarau Island Scenic Reserve. Schedule North Auckland Land District Whangarei District 3.4444 hectares, more or less, being part Te Awa-Poka-a-Taraweta Block, also known as Matarau Island, situated in Block III, Purua Survey District.
