Land at Highbank Acquired for Development of Water Power (Highbank Power Scheme) Pursuant to section 20 (1) of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Regional Solicitor, Land Information New Zealand, Christchurch, declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto, is hereby acquired for development of water power (Highbank Power Scheme) and shall vest in Her Majesty the Queen on the date of publication of this declaration in the New Zealand Gazette. Schedule Canterbury Land District Ashburton District 7.6890 hectares, being part Rural Section 26547, contained in part C.T. 36B/608, situated in Block IV, Spaxton and Block I, Corwar Survey Districts.
