Declaration that Land is a Reserve Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator for the Auckland Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, hereby notifies that the following resolution was passed by The Auckland Regional Council at its meeting held on the 29th day of May 1996: ``That in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, The Auckland Regional Council hereby resolves that, the pieces of land held by the said council in fee simple and described in the Schedule hereto, shall be, and the same are declared to be a reserve for scenic purposes to be known as the `Whakanewha Regional Park' within the meaning of section 19 of the said Act''.
