Appointment to the Rules Committee Pursuant to the power vested in the Chief Justice of New Zealand by subsection (2) of section 51b of the Judicature Act 1908, as enacted by section 4 of the Judicature Amendment Act (No. 2) 1985, the Chief Justice of New Zealand has appointed Colin Robert Carruthers, one of Her Majesty's Counsel of Wellington and Robert Stanley Chambers, one of Her Majesty's Counsel of Auckland to be members of the Rules Committee for terms of 3 years.
