Adoption of Regulations for the Safe Transport of Radioactive Materials 1985 N o t i c e 1. Pursuant to regulation 2 (3) of the Radiation Protection Regulations 1982, I, Jennifer Mary Shipley, Minister of Health, subject to the modification specified in clause 2 of this notice, hereby adopt for the purposes of the Radiation Protection Regulations 1982, the regulations for the Safe Transport of Radioactive Materials 1985 (as amended in 1990), published by the International Atomic Energy Agency in Vienna. 2. Paragraph 467 of the regulations for the Safe Transport of Radioactive Materials 1985 (as amended in 1990) is, for the purposes of the Radiation Protection Regulations 1982, hereby modified by adding the words ``or alternatively in the front or rear in the case of such a vehicle'' to the end of subparagraph (b) of that paragraph. 3. The notice issued under the Radiation Protection Regulations 1982 on 23 February 1987 and published in the New Zealand Gazette on 12 March 1987 at page 1142, is hereby revoked. 4.
