Appointment of Deputy Chairperson to Te Reo Whakapuaki Irirangi (Te Mangai Paho) Pursuant to section 53i of the Broadcasting Act 1989, the Minister of Communications, having consulted with the Minister of Maori Affairs, is pleased to appoint William Charles (Bill) Nathan, o.b.e., consultant of Wellington to be deputy chairperson of Te Reo Whakapuaki Irirangi for the period commencing the 19th day of August 1996 and expiring with the close of the 18th day of August 1999.
