Application for a Permit to Film Marine Mammals Peter Thompson, film camera operator of 108 Parkhill Road, Auckland has applied to the Minister of Conservation for a permit under section 6 of the Marine Mammals Protection Act 1978 to approach to within 50 metres of, and film, at the surface or underwater, cetaceans and other marine mammals in New Zealand Fisheries Waters, between 1 August 1996 and 30 July 2000.
