Exemption From Specified Requirements of the Traffic Regulations 1976 Pursuant to regulation 90 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976, I, Peter Nicholas Rendall, Senior Vehicle Compliance Officer, hereby exempt the motor vehicles specified in Schedule 1 of this notice from the requirements contained within regulation 67 (1) of the Traffic Regulations 1976, to permit these vehicles to display a white and red flashing or revolving lamp, subject to the conditions specified within Schedule 2 of this notice. Schedule 1 Vehicle Details Vehicles authorised by the New Zealand Fire Service for use as control vehicles. Schedule 2 Conditions A white and red flashing or revolving lamp may only be used when the control vehicle is: (i) Stationary; (ii) At the scene of an emergency or simulated emergency; (iii) This exemption may be revoked at any time. Revocation of Exemption I hereby revoke the exemption published in the New Zealand Gazette on 21 August 1975, No. 69, page 1865, titled ``Exemption to Allow Display of Blue Lamp in Terms of Traffic Regulations 1956''.
