Retail and Wholesale Industry Training Organisation Incorporated The Board of the Education and Training Support Agency, pursuant to section 5 of the Industry Training Act 1992, hereby gives notice that on Monday, the 18th day of December 1995, the Retail and Wholesale Industry Training Organisation Incorporated, was granted full recognition as an Industry Training Organisation for the Retail and Wholesale Industry. It will set standards on the National Qualifications Framework in the following areas: Retail and Wholesale product knowledge; Retail and Wholesale product handling; Retail and Wholesale cash handling; Retail and Wholesale security stock and store systems and training; Retail and Wholesale Consumer Legislation; Retail and Wholesale stock control; Retail and Wholesale buying; Store and Warehouse Retail and Wholesale Management; Retail and Wholesale Store and Warehouse layout and design; Retail and Wholesale visual merchandising. Levels 18. The ITO shall be required to consult with other interested parties. Excluded from the coverage is the sale and resale of a number of products and the associated standard setting responsibilities covered by existing Industry Training Organisations.
