Waitarere Fire District Notice, September 1996 Pursuant to section 26 of the Fire Service Act 1975, the New Zealand Fire Service Commission hereby gives the following notice. N o t i c e 1. This notice may be cited as the Waitarere Fire District Notice, September 1996. 2. This notice shall come into force on the 20th day of September 1996. 3. This notice revokes and is in substitution for the previous agreement for protection of the Waitarere community between the New Zealand Fire Service and The Horowhenua District Council. Constitution of a Fire District 4. The urban areas of the town of Waitarere are hereby constituted as a fire district. 5. The boundary of the constituted fire district is defined and delineated on a plan held at the National Office, New Zealand Fire Service, Wellington.
