Road Deviation at Dempseys Bend in Waimate District Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Manager, Lands and Property, Department of Survey and Land Information, Christchurch, hereby: (a) Pursuant to section 20 (1), declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the First Schedule hereto, is hereby acquired for road which, pursuant to section 60 (2) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, forms part of State Highway No. 1 and shall vest in the Crown on the date of publication of the declaration in the New Zealand Gazette. (b) Pursuant to sections 116, 117 and 120, declares the road described in the Second Schedule hereto, to be stopped and shall be amalgamated with the land in balance certificate of title No. 5B/83, Canterbury Land Registry. First Schedule Canterbury Land District Waimate District 21 square metres, being part Lot 1, on Deposited Plan 22225; as shown marked ``D'' on S.O. Plan 18542, lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Christchurch. Second Schedule Canterbury Land District Waimate District 614 square metres, adjoining Lot 1, on Deposited Plan 22225; as shown marked ``C'' on S.O.
