Notice of Intention to Take Land Pursuant to Section 23 of the Public Works Act 1981 Dawsons Landing, Snells Beach Notice is hereby given that The Rodney District Council under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1981, intends to take part of the land described in the Schedule hereto for road, to upgrade the boat ramp known as Dawsons Landing and to extend the associated carparking area. Notice was given under section 18 of the Public Works Act 1981 on 16 March 1994 and a plan showing the proposed land take was attached to that notice: The taking is considered necessary for the following reasons: 1. To upgrade the boat ramp known as Dawsons Landing as an important amenity in the area; 2. To provide access to the boat ramp for public use; 3. To provide carparking and a picnic area for the public to be used in conjunction with the boat ramp. Any person having an interest or estate in the land described in the Schedule hereto may within 20 working days after the date of publication of this notice send an objection to the Registrar, Planning Tribunal, Tribunals Division, Justice Department, Private Bag, Wellington. If any objection is made in accordance with this notice a public hearing will be held unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be informed of the time and place of the hearing. Schedule 2.0917 hectares, more or less, being Lot 2, Deposited Plan 30365 and being part of Allotment 16, Parish of Mahurangi and being all the land comprised and described in certificate of title 1385/86, subject to: Fencing agreement in transfer 653327 and mortgage C283394.4.
