Declaring Land to be Held for Conservation Purposes Together With a Classification and Naming of a Reserve Pursuant to section 7 (1) of the Conservation Act 1987, the Minister of Conservation and the Minister of Lands, being the Minister responsible for the Department of State that has control of the land described in the First Schedule hereto, jointly declare that the land is held for conservation purposes and pursuant to section 7 (1a) of the said Act, the Minister of Conservation declares that the land in the Second Schedule hereto, is held for conservation purposes and further, pursuant to section 8(1a) of the said Act, the Minister of Conservation declares that the conservation area described in the Third Schedule hereto, shall hereafter be set apart as a reserve, subject to the Reserves Act 1977, and classified as a scenic reserve, subject to the provisions of the latter Act and further, declares that the said reserve shall hereafter be known as the Mataura Range Scenic Reserve.
