English in the New Zealand Curriculum The notice printed in the New Zealand Gazette, issue No. 142, page 4635, published on 30 November 1995, contains an error. The phrase containing the date from which the national curriculum statement is prescribed by the Minister of Education should read as from 1 January 1996, instead of as from 1 January 1995.
