Pursuant to the power vested in the Chief Justice of New Zealand by subsection (2) of section 51b of the Judicature Act 1908 as enacted by section 4 of the Judicature Amendment Act (No. 2) 1985, the Chief Justice of New Zealand has appointed The Honourable John Anthony Doogue of Wellington and The Honourable Robert Lloyd Fisher of Auckland to be members of the Rules Committee for terms of 3 years commencing on the 1st day of January 1995.
