Notice Calling Final Meetings of Members and Creditors In the matter of the Incorporated Societies Act 1908 and the Companies Act 1955, and in the matter of The Midland Club Incorporated (in liquidation): Notice is hereby given, in pursuance to sections 290 and 291 of the Companies Act 1955, that meetings of the members and creditors of the above-named club will be held in the boardroom, Walker Davey & Co, Chartered Accountants, 118 Victoria Street, Christchurch on Friday, the 20th day of May 1994 at 11 a.m., for the purpose of having an account laid before it showing how the winding up has been conducted and the property of the club has been disposed of, and to receive any further explanations thereof by the liquidator. Further Business: To resolve, pursuant to section 328 (1) (b) that the liquidator be authorised to dispose of the books of the club and of the liquidator as the meeting decides. Every member or creditor entitled to attend and vote at the meetings is entitled to appoint a proxy to attend and vote for them. A proxy need not be a member or creditor respectively. Proxies to be used at the meetings must be lodged at the offices of Walker Davey & Co, 118 Victoria Street, Christchurch, not later than 4 p.m. on Thursday, the 19th day of May 1994.
