Declaration That Land is a Reserve Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator, Northland Conservancy, Department of Conservation, notifies that the following resolution was passed by The Whangarei District Council on the 25th day of May 1994: ``That in exercise of its powers conferred on it by section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, The Whangarei District Council resolves that the piece of land held by the said district council in fee simple, and described in the Schedule hereto, shall be, and the same is hereby declared to be a local purpose (site for an urban marae) reserve within the meaning of the said Act.''
