Radiocommunications (Radio) Regulations (General Licence for Radio Receiving Apparatus) Notice 1994 Pursuant to regulation 13 of the Radiocommunications (Radio) Regulations 1993, and acting under delegated authority from the Secretary of Commerce, I hereby give the following notice. N o t i c e 1. Short title and commencement (1) This notice may be cited as the Radiocommunications (Radio) Regulations (General Licence for Radio Receiving Apparatus) Notice 1994. (2) This notice shall come into force on the 3rd day of February 1994. 2. General licence (1) A licence is hereby granted for the installation, operation and use of radio apparatus intended for the reception of radiocommunications. (2) The licence granted under subclause (1) of this clause does not apply to radio apparatus designed as an integrated unit for transmission and reception of radiocommunications. 3. Explanatory Note This note is not part of the notice, but is intended to indicate its general effect. This note prescribes that, pursuant to regulation 13 of the Radiocommunications (Radio) Regulations 1993, a general licence is granted in respect of the installation, operation, and use of radio apparatus. This notice comes into effect on 3 February 1994.
