The Fisheries (Southern Scallop Fishery Season) Notice 1994 (No. 5357) Pursuant to section 28zm of the Fisheries Act 1983 and delegation made pursuant to section 41 of the State Sector Act 1988, the National Director Fisheries Services, MAF Fisheries hereby makes the following notice: N o t i c e 1. Title and commencement (1) This notice may be cited as the Fisheries (Southern Scallop Fishery Season) Notice 1994. (2) This notice shall come into effect on the 9th day of August 1994. 2. Interpretation In this notice any reference to the Southern Scallop Fishery means the fishery described in Part I of Schedule 1D to the Fisheries Act 1983. 3. Scallop season The period commencing on the 10th day of August 1994 and ending with the close of the 22nd day of December 1994 shall be the commercial Southern Scallop Fishery season for the 1994 season.
