Title and Commencement (1) This notice may be cited as the Fisheries (Automatic Location Communicator Type Approval) Notice (No. 3) 1994. (2) This notice shall come into effect on the day after the date of its notification in the New Zealand Gazette. 2. Interpretation In this notice, ``type approval'' means an approval given by the Director-General of Agriculture and Fisheries under regulation 5 of the Fisheries (Satellite Vessel Monitoring) Regulations 1993. ``Fisheries Communication Centre'' means the Communication Centre of the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries located at Greta Point, Wellington. 3. Grant of Type Approval (1) Pursuant to regulation 5 (2) of the Fisheries (Satellite Vessel Monitoring) Regulations 1993, a full type approval has been granted to the following ARGOS device: [td m10.,s1m,vu] [tc mp1,vu,ql,G.2,SM] Manufacturer: IESM Model name: ARGOS PTT for Fishing Application Model number: MAR90-E Software Version No.: PSION 4.2 (2) Pursuant to 6.4 of Circular Two issued under regulation 4 of the Fisheries (Satellite Vessel Monitoring) Regulations 1993, the grant of this type approval is subject to the conclusion of mutually acceptable arrangements between MAF and Collecte Localisation Satellites for the supply of processed data to the Fisheries Communication Centre.
