Approval of Tyre Retreading Standards Pursuant to regulation 6 of the Transport (VehicleStandards) Regulations 1990, and in exercise of powers delegated to me, pursuant to section 28 of the Land Transport Act 1993, I, Hugh Cameron Matheson, Senior Automotive Engineer, hereby prescribe NZS 5423 and AS 1973 as alternative vehicle standards for tyres for the purposes of the said Transport (Vehicle Standards) Regulations 1990.
