Bylaw Fixing the Maximum Speed of Vehicles on Parts of State Highway No. 6 : Franz Josef and Fox Glacier Townships at 60 kph Pursuant to section 61 (2) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, and section 72 (1) (j) of the Transport Act 1962, Transit New Zealand makes the following bylaw. B y l a w 1. This bylaw may be cited as Transit New Zealand Bylaw 94/5. 2. This bylaw shall come into force on the 1st day of November 1994. 3. In this bylaw ``motor vehicle'' has the meaning assigned to it in section 2 (1) of the Transport Act 1962. 4. No person shall drive any motor vehicle at a speed exceeding 60 kilometres an hour on those parts of State Highway No. 6: (i) In Franz Josef Township, from (R.P. 596/12.48) a point located 850 metres in a northerly direction from the northern abutment of the Waiho River Bridge to a point (R.P. 610/0.35) located 420 metres in a southwesterly direction from the southern abutment of the Waiho River Bridge; and (ii) In Fox Glacier Township, from a point (R.P.626/6.13) located 460 metres in a northeasterly direction from the intersection with Cook Flat Road to a point (R.P. 626/6.85) located 260 metres in a southerly direction from the intersection with Cook Flat Road. This bylaw is made by resolution passed at a meeting of the Transit New Zealand Authority held in Wellington on the 5th day of October 1994. Dated at Wellington this 20th day of October 1994. J.
