Declaring Subsoil of the Rimutaka Railway Tunnel to be Acquired for Railway Purposes Pursuant to sections 24 and 30 of the New Zealand Railways Corporation Act 1981 and section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, the Chief Executive of the New Zealand Railways Corporation hereby declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, all that subsoil of the land, below a plane 162 metres above mean sea level, described in the First Schedule hereto, and all that subsoil of the land, below a plane 144 metres above mean sea level, described in the Second Schedule hereto, is hereby acquired for and on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen for railway purposes.
