Approval of Flashing Lights and Siren on Display Ambulance Pursuant to regulation 88 (1) of the Traffic Regulations 1976 and in exercise of powers delegated to me, pursuant to section 28 of the Land Transport Act 1993, I, Hugh Cameron Matheson, hereby approve the fitting of two red flashing lights to the display ambulance described in the First Schedule hereto, subject to the conditions specified in the Second Schedule hereto; and Pursuant to regulation 90 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976 and in exercise of powers delegated to me, pursuant to section 28 of the Land Transport Act 1993, I, Hugh Cameron Matheson, hereby exempt from regulation 69 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976, prohibiting sirens, the display ambulance described in the First Schedule hereto, subject to the conditions specified in the Second Schedule hereto. First Schedule The 1977 International ambulance chassis No. EO150EHD10790, Registration No. IH 701, owned by Mr Nigel J. White. Second Schedule Conditions: 1. The vehicle may not be used on any road except for the purposes of testing and repair or when taking part in a display which has been previously notified to the public. 2. The flashing lights and siren may only be used when the vehicle is taking part in a display which has been previously notified to the public. Signed at Wellington this 13th day of December 1993. H.
