On 11 December 2006 and 13 December 2006, ihug Limited (“ihug”) and Callplus Limited (“Callplus”), respectively, each filed an application with the Commerce Commission (“the Commission”) for reconsideration of Decision 582, under section 59 of the Telecommunications Act 2001
(“the Act”).
Decision 582 was issued on 22 June 2006 and relates to the designated access service of “access to and interconnection with Telecom’s fixed PDN”.
The parties to the determination were Telecom Corporation of New Zealand Limited (“Telecom”), ihug and Callplus.
The Commission has requested that Telecom and Callplus provide written comment on the ihug application to the Commission by Friday, 15 December 2006 at 5.00 p.m.
The Commission has requested that Telecom and ihug provide written comment on the Callplus application to the Commission by Wednesday, 20 December 2006 at 5.00 p.m.
