In accordance with section 52 of the Civil Aviation Act 2023, notice is hereby given that the Associate Minister of Transport signed each of the following Civil Aviation Rules on 24 June 2026 which come into force on 31 August 2026:

• Part 1 – Definition and Abbreviations, Amendment 3 (CAA Docket 25/CAR/06)
• Part 139 – Aerodromes – Certification, Operation and Use, Amendment 2 (CAA Docket 25/CAR/06)

In accordance with section 431 of the Civil Aviation Act and Civil Aviation Rule 139.20, notice is hereby given that the Director of Civil Aviation signed the following Civil Aviation Transport Instrument on 26 June 2026, which comes into force on 31 August 2026:

• CATI: 139.51 Civil Aviation (Arresting System) Transport Instrument, Initial Issue (CAA Docket 25/CAR/06)

These rules and transport instrument are secondary legislation for the purposes of the Legislation Act 2019 and Legislation (Publication) Regulations 2021.

The administering agency responsible for administering these rules and transport instrument is the Civil Aviation Authority of New Zealand.
