In accordance with section 52 of the Civil Aviation Act 2023, notice is hereby given that Her Excellency the Governor-General of New Zealand signed each of the following Civil Aviation Rules on 22 June 2026 which will come into force on 23 July 2026:

• Part 1 – Definitions and Abbreviations, Amendment 2 (CAA Docket 26/CAR/02)
• Part 19 – Miscellaneous Rules, Amendment 1 (CAA Docket 26/CAR/02)
• Part 91 – General Operating and Flight Rules, Amendment 2 (CAA Docket 26/CAR/02)
• Part 108 – Air Operator Security Programme, Amendment 1 (CAA Docket 26/CAR/02)
• Part 140 – Providers of Aviation Security Services, Amendment 2 (CAA Docket 26/CAR/02)

These rules are secondary legislation for the purposes of the Legislation Act 2019.

The administering agency responsible for administering these rules is the Ministry of Transport.
