Notice of Amendment Under the Veterans’ Support Act 2014 to Two Statements of Principles
1. Pursuant to section 24 of the Veterans’ Support Act 2014, the Minister for Veterans gives notice of the amendment of two Statements of Principles under the Veterans’ Support Regulations 2014.
2. The amendments are:
pericarditis (39/2026, to be read as compiled with 91/2023)
myocarditis (40/2026, to be read as compiled with 18/2024)
3. The amendments take effect on 27 July 2026.
4. The amendments add to a causative factor in both 91/2023 and 18/2024 concerning “having a COVID-19 mRNA vaccine” the words “or Novavax (Nuvaxovid, NVX-CoV2373) COVID-19 vaccine”.
5. The amendment is secondary legislation for the purpose of the Legislation Act 2019 and is administered by Veterans’ Affairs.
