Land to be Declared a Walkway—Ruakōkoputuna, South Wairarapa District
Under section 31 of the Walking Access Act 2008, I declare that the land described in the Schedule below shall be a walkway and is assigned the name Ruakōkoputuna Walkway.
I have appointed the Wellington Fish and Game Council to be the controlling authority for this walkway.
The areas being A and B DP 549404 (Record of Title 157177).
Subject to controlling authority approval, vehicles may be taken on to the walkway for maintenance purposes only.
The easement may be closed to public access for the following purposes:
The notice for the closing of the easement for planned forestry operations on the easement or on the land adjoining the easement shall be a minimum of two (2) weeks. Signs will be erected at all entry points to the walkway advising of any closure.
The walkway can only be used during daylight hours, Monday–Sunday.
Camping on the walkway is not permitted.
Consent is required to erect any signage on the walkway.
Consent is required to make any changes to the location, shape, or formation of the walkway.
