Under section 52P of the Commerce Act 1986 (“Act”) the Commerce Commission gives notice that it has amended the Electricity Distribution Services Default Price-Quality Path Determination 2025 [2024] NZCC 28.

The amendment is set out in the Electricity Distribution Services Default Price-Quality Path (Wellington Electricity Lines Limited Unforeseeable Large Project) Amendment Determination 2026 (“DPP Amendment Determination”).

The DPP Amendment Determination comes into force on 2 April 2026.

The DPP Amendment Determination increases Wellington Electricity Lines Limited’s allowable revenue to provide for an unforeseeable large project.
