Pursuant to section 517(1) of the Financial Markets Conduct Act 2013, His Honour Judge S. Lance made an order on 4 March 2026 prohibiting David Edgar McEwen, for a period of seven years, from doing any of the following:

1. being a director or promoter of, or in any way (whether directly or indirectly) being concerned or taking part in the management of, an entity (other than an overseas company, or other entity, that does not carry on business in New Zealand); and
2. providing financial advice services or client money or property services, or contributing, as employee or agent, to the provision of those services.
