Notice is given under section 161(1)(a) of the Land Transfer Act 2017 of an application under section 155 of the Act for record of title based on adverse possession on the grounds set out below.

A person claiming an estate or interest in the land described may lodge a caveat under section 162 of the Act to prevent the application from being granted on or before 31 August 2026. If no caveats are lodged, the record of title will be issued and existing estates and interests extinguished.

Application: Application 13588119.1 by Roy Trustee 2022 Limited for land at Hokonui Hills 9777 being 10.8520 ha, more or less, and being Part Section 439 Hokonui Survey District, now described as Lot 1 Deposited Plan 624586 in cancelled Record of Title SL22/148 in the Southland land district owned by The New Zealand Agricultural Company Limited.

Grounds: The applicant claims to have been in continuous adverse possession of the land for 36 years.
