Notice is given under section 114(5)(a) of the Land Transfer Act 2017 of an application to record an easement as extinguished.

A person who claims to have an interest under the easement may object to the application by giving notice to the Registrar-General of Land on or before 28 April 2026. If no objections are received by that date the affected records of title will be updated to record the extinguishment.

Applicant: Addington Investments Limited as grantor

Easement: Right of support easement over part Rural Section 9 (Record of Title CB29B/220) shown in and created by Transfer 710206 registered on 5 May 1967 at 2.30pm.

Grounds: The application is made on the grounds that the easement is extinguished because an event specified in the easement has occurred that has brought it to an end, being the destruction of the wall, damaged as a result of the Canterbury earthquakes to the extent that it required demolition.
