Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Operations Manager, Mahaanui, Department of Conservation changes the purpose of the reserve in Schedule 1 from a local purpose (county buildings) reserve to a local purpose (public utility) reserve; and further revokes the reservation as a local purpose (county buildings) reserve over the land described in Schedule 2, and declares the land be held as Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948.
