Pursuant to section 7(1A) of the Conservation Act 1987, the Minister of Conservation declares that the lands described in the Schedules to this notice are held for conservation purposes, and under section 8(1A) of that Act declares that the lands be a reserve under the Reserves Act 1977 and classifies the lands in:

  • The First Schedule as a recreation reserve under section 17 of the Reserves Act 1977.
  • The Second Schedule as a historic reserve under section 18 of the Reserves Act 1977.
  • The Third Schedule as a scenic reserve under section 19(1)(a) of the Reserves Act 1977.
  • The Fourth Schedule as a local purpose (esplanade) reserve under section 23 of the Reserves Act 1977.
  • The Fifth Schedule as a local purpose (water supply) reserve under section 23 of the Reserves Act 1977.
  • The Sixth Schedule as a local purpose (community use) reserve under section 23 of the Reserves Act 1977.
  • The Seventh Schedule as a scenic reserve under section 19(1)(a) of the Reserves Act 1977.
